Security

Security and contact statement.

How JustWrite protects private writing, checkout, support requests, and vulnerability reports.

Last updated May 13, 2026

Security posture

JustWrite keeps the surface area intentionally small: a native macOS app, a static marketing site, local browser writing tools, and a hosted checkout flow through ReleaseFlow.

Writing content

  • The macOS app is designed for local writing and focus sessions.
  • Free browser writing tools run in the browser and should not send draft text to analytics.
  • Support emails are human-readable by the maker, so do not send private drafts unless that is necessary for the request.

Payments and licenses

  • Checkout is handled by ReleaseFlow and its payment processor rather than by this static site.
  • JustWrite does not ask you to send card numbers, bank details, or account passwords through support.
  • If a payment page looks suspicious, stop and contact support before paying.

Report a security issue

  • Email hi@kitze.io with a clear subject line like JustWrite security report.
  • Include the affected URL or app version, reproduction steps, impact, and whether the issue may expose user data.
  • Please avoid destructive testing, credential attacks, spam, social engineering, or accessing data that is not yours.

Security updates

  • Important fixes are shipped through app updates and production website deployments.
  • Security reports that affect buyers or checkout flow are prioritized above feature requests.
  • Public disclosure should wait until there has been a reasonable chance to investigate and patch.
